Prom Knight

The Kingdom of Lesser Hollow · tonight · 8 o'clock

He has a corsage.
He does not have a plan.

Princess Marigold is waiting in the tower. The prom starts at eight. Between Sir Reginald and his date: a fire, a moat, a very small and very angry beast, and a castle full of contraptions. Pull them in the right order. Everything else is a funny ending.

Storybook illustration with a gold-leaf vine border: a knight holding a corsage stands below a stone tower where a princess in a sparkly gown waves from the window. A brazier burns beside a rain barrel, a small spiky beast snarls on the stairs, and a big shaggy hound sits in an iron cage under a disco-ball moon.

The rules of the evening

Prom Knight is a puzzle game about order. Every level is a little machine of cause and effect. You choose which contraption fires first, second, third. Then you ring the bell and watch.

Level one: the tower

Tap the four contraptions in the order you want them to happen, then ring the bell. Wrong orders aren't game over; they're endings. Collect them all.

A medieval great hall decorated for a prom: streamers, a disco ball hanging from a wheel chandelier, minstrels with a lute and drum on a stage, a cauldron of punch, dancing couples and a suit of armor wearing a purple bow tie.

    The whole kingdom is going

Each level of the full game is one obstacle between Sir Reginald and the dance: the tower, the swamp, the troll's toll bridge, the princess's very protective grandmother. Every machine has one right order and a dozen spectacular wrong ones.
